JDR & Associates was established in Santa Fe, NM in 2020 after John G. Rehder's retirement in December of 2020. Thus beginning a new chapter and name change from John Rehder Construction to JDR and Associates, same great quality and commitment from lifelong employees who continue to work together. Jeff Sanchez and Donald Garcia have pulled their strengths and experiences in construction to continue this legacy of prefection in construction.
With a combined 60 years of experience both Donald and Jeff bring both the field and office aspects of construction into full swing with quality and experience that outweighs all other general contractors.
Jeff Sanchez began working with John Rehder while still in high school applying powerful ethics and attention to detail in his craftsmanship. As Jeff continued to grow within the company he became John's superintendent and chief source for ensuring customer service and satisfaction throughout all aspects of the construction process. Jeff continues to foster a vision of excellencies and ethics with all employees and subcontractors.
Donald Garcia began working in construction fresh out of high school and continued to work diligently in the field while attending college and receiving a B.A. in Buiness and Finance and Accounting. Donald's expertise as a controller and estimator on the commercial side of construction accounting and management has led to impeccable audits throughout his career demonstrating his strong ethics and professionalism in the industry. For over 17 years Donald has held his GB98 New Mexico License as a general contractor.
Our extensive background, trained and knowledgeable personnel, and vast experience in building with various types of materials and construction methods ensure that our clients are placing their projects in capable hands. Our employees, most of which have been with the company for several years, take great pride in a job well done. This shows in the craftsmanship of their work. Our subcontractors, also many of which have been associated with us for several years, share in our commitment to quality.

The safety and welfare of our employees and associates are our #1 priority. Project safAny unsafe conditions are immediately corrected to minimize the possibility of injury.
Job site safety meetings are also required and we insist that our employees and subcontractors abide by all OSHA safety regulations. We also receive regular safety inspections by Builder’s Trust, our worker’s comp insurance carrier.
